Introduction

The BitX20 is a 14MHz QRP (low power) SSB Transceiver that was designed in 1994 by Ashhar Farhan[1].

The new BitX-20 digital connections website is being developed.

Check out 147.120 projects YahooGroup to follow the building of this project. We got our BitX-20 project of kits from Sunil Lakhani [2], India.

Suggested Tools needed

  • Soldering pencil and holder
  • Solder (63/37) in a dispenser
  • Solder Flux
  • Needle nose pliers
  • Diagonal cutters
  • Wire Strippers
  • Solder puller / desolder braid
  • Tool bag (to carry all this stuff)
  • VOM/DVM meter (optional)
